Paris and the Canary Islands
This was one of those things about which I could say that dreams do come true! I remember that I just received compensation from Ryanair because the last flight from London on my previous trip was delayed due to technical problems. I knew that this money had to be used only for the next adventure. Back then I was in senior year at High school and I was working so it was quite possible to save for a good trip. If I remember correctly, I just wrote to Maya and said if she will come with me after the school is finished, even though I didn't even figured out jet where we could go. And she said yes! To be precise, Maya's parents said yes! The previous travel experience has thought me several tips and tricks, so I began planning by doing "Tetris" at the Skyscanner website, because a trip with one destination and back sounded too boring for us! And so I came up the following combo - 10 days, route: Riga - Vilnius - Paris - Gran Canaria - Frankfurt - Riga, paying ridiculously little money for plane tickets. How did we plan our trip? We had a must-see list, I had, of course, made myself a map of Paris's best cafeterias, and the for the rest we "went with a flow".
